Robin Penoyer has a diverse work experience in coaching and teaching in various sports organizations and educational institutions. Robin started their career in 1989 as a Teacher Coach for ASA Softball and continued to work with different softball teams throughout their career. Robin also worked as a Coach, Clinician, Instructor, and Teacher for the Clinton Thunder/New York Storm, where they focused on teaching the art of fastpitch softball both on and off the field. In 1993, they joined Stockbridge Valley Central School where they trained student athletes in softball, volleyball, and soccer, emphasizing strength training, nutrition, and leadership. In 1995, they worked as a Part-time Assistant Pitching Coach at Colgate University and then moved on to Hamilton College as the Head Softball and Head Volleyball coach from 1997 to 1999. From 1999 to 2000, they served as the Head Varsity Softball Coach at Whitesboro Central School, leading the team to sectionals and achieving milestone seasons. Later, they joined Morrisville State College, initially as a part-time employee and then as a full-time employee. Robin played a pivotal role in transforming the women's soccer and softball programs into NCAA Div. III level programs and initiated the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. In 2011, they became the Head Varsity Softball Coach for Clinton Central School Corporation. In 2013, they joined US Sports Camps as the Director of Operations, and in 2014, they became a part of Team USA's Coaches Pool.

Robin Penoyer completed a Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a 3.78 Cumulative GPA in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Concordia University-Portland in 2013. Between 2005 and 2008, they pursued a Continuing Education program in Coaching at Mississippi State University. Robin'sundergraduate studies were at the University of Minnesota from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Robin'sfield of study for both their bachelor's degree and continuing education program was Kinesiology/Coaching, emphasizing their interest in the coaching field.
