Erin Riggs

Erin Riggs currently serves as the Director of the Environmental Finance Center at the US Water Alliance, a position held since March 2024. Previously, Erin was the Executive Director of the UNC Environmental Finance Center from May 2016 to February 2024, and also held the roles of Project Director and Senior Project Director during that time. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Attorney at the 13th Judicial Circuit from March 2013 to March 2016 and as the Associate Executive Director of Waterkeepers Carolina from 2012 to 2013. Erin Riggs holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law, earned in 2010, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
