Chris Avery is currently working as an Energy Consultant at Sunrun. Prior to this role, Chris was a USABS Bobsled Athlete at USA Bobsled/Skeleton. In addition, Chris has experience as a Personal Trainer at Body for Life and as a Health and Wellness Consultant at Wellness On Wall. Previously, Chris was a Public Relations and Social Media Intern at Oregon Research Institute and an Intern for Appropriations Committee Chairman at Guam Legislature. Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the University of Oregon.
USA Bobsled/Skeleton
Based in Lake Placid, N.Y., USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS) is a non-profit corporation and national governing body for the sports of bobsled and skeleton in the United States. As the recognized governing body for the sports of bobsled and skeleton in the United States by the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), the USABS is responsible for the selection of U.S. teams entered into IBSF sanctioned events and national events. The USBSF enables United States athletes to achieve sustained competitive excellence in Olympic competition and promotes the sports of bobsled and skeleton nationally.
