Sam McGuffie is a Senior Sales Representative at Alphatec Spine and the Vice President of the Houston Chapter of the United States Olympians & Paralympians Association. Sam is also the Owner of Pro Notary and a BMW Sponsored Athlete. In addition, Sam is a Push Athlete for USA Bobsled & Skeleton and a Wing for PRO Rugby. Sam is currently an active Running Back/kick returner for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and has previous experience with the New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals Football Club, and Oakland Raiders. Sam has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rice University and a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management.
USA Bobsled/Skeleton
Based in Lake Placid, N.Y., USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS) is a non-profit corporation and national governing body for the sports of bobsled and skeleton in the United States. As the recognized governing body for the sports of bobsled and skeleton in the United States by the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), the USABS is responsible for the selection of U.S. teams entered into IBSF sanctioned events and national events. The USBSF enables United States athletes to achieve sustained competitive excellence in Olympic competition and promotes the sports of bobsled and skeleton nationally.
