Anders Johnson

Professional Athlete

Anders Johnson is a distinguished professional athlete and project manager with extensive experience in competitive cycling and research. Currently serving as a member of the Men's Track Endurance National Team for USA Cycling, Anders has achieved multiple accolades including being a current team pursuit American record holder and a two-time Pan American champion in both individual and team pursuits. In addition to elite athletic accomplishments, Anders holds a project manager position at Stanford University School of Medicine, managing the MyHeart Counts initiative. As an ambassador for Outride, a program focused on empowering youth through cycling, Anders promotes the transformative power of the sport. Previous roles include head mountain bike coach for USA Cycling's Olympic Development Academy and a research undergraduate at Cal Poly, where work focused on biophysics. Anders earned a B.S. in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Premed from California Polytechnic State University.
