Kristen Dieffenbach is the Executive Director of the United States Center for Coaching Excellence, a national non-profit organization focused on quality sport coaching education and development. At West Virginia University, Kristen serves as President and Professor in the School of Sport Science, also directing the Center for Applied Coaching and Sport Science. Kristen holds multiple roles, including Board Member for the National Interscholastic Cycling Association and participation in the Coaching Education Advisory Board for USA Cycling. Additionally, Kristen owns Mountains Marathons and More, providing coaching education and athlete consulting services. A longstanding member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, Kristen contributes as a fellow and E-board member. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master's in Physical Education from the University of Idaho, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Boston University.
