Roger Young, P.G. has extensive work experience in the field of environmental remediation and project management. Roger has served in various roles in different companies and organizations.

From 2022 to the present, Roger Young has been working at USA Environmental, Inc. as the Director of Operations. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, they were the Program Manager at the same company, where they managed projects for the US Army Corps of Engineers and other Army clients.

Before joining USA Environmental, Inc., Roger Young worked at APTIM from 2014 to 2018 as a Senior Project Manager. Roger was a part of the site management team supporting Redstone Arsenal in a large-scale remediation program.

In addition, Roger Young worked at InfoPro Corporation from 2011 to 2014 as the Vice President of Operations and at the US Army Corps of Engineers from 2007 to 2010 as the Chief of the Civil Structures Division.

Their earlier experience includes working as the Military Munitions Innovative Technology Manager at the US Army Corps of Engineers, where they were responsible for tech transfer and implementation of technologies for unexploded ordnance remediation.

Throughout their career, Roger Young has demonstrated expertise in project management, technical leadership, and environmental remediation, particularly in the field of military munitions and hazardous waste. Roger holds a Professional Geologist license in Alabama and has a strong background in geophysics and hydrogeology.

Roger Young, P.G. has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, which they obtained from the University of South Alabama between 1973 and 1978. Roger later pursued engineering management at The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 2005 to 2007, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree in this field. Additionally, they studied Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences at Tulane University from 1980 to 1982. Roger Young is also a Licensed Professional Geologist in the state of Alabama, although the specific details regarding when and where they obtained this certification are unknown.
