Jaime V.

Jaime V. is a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern at USA Industries, Inc. since October 2019, where significant contributions include the design of a mechanical testing device that reduced testing time by 70% and minimized operator fatigue. Jaime V. also developed models and engineering drawings for unique sizing of piping isolation tools, resulting in a 33% decrease in product lead time. Additionally, from September 2018 to May 2019, Jaime V. served as the Mentorship Coordinator for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at the University of Houston, overseeing the pairing of underclassmen with upperclassmen in their respective majors.
