Carl Schmits

Carl Schmits has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Carl currently serves as the Managing Director of Equipment Standards/Facilities Development at the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA), where they are responsible for defining and implementing specifications and standards for the sport. Prior to that, they founded ProPickleball Media LLC, a company dedicated to promoting and advancing the sport through content creation and consultation with the sport's governing body. Carl has also worked as an Advisor in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications at Guidepoint, where they connected clients with subject matter experts. Additionally, they held executive positions at Volex and Intel Corporation, including roles as Chief of Staff, Global Account Manager, and Sales Director, with responsibilities in sales, operations, and strategic planning.
