USA Rugby
Cheta Emba is a dedicated individual with diverse experience in athletics, research, and education. Currently a student at Harvard University, Cheta has been a professional athlete with USA Rugby since January 2016. Earlier experience includes serving as a desk monitor at the Harvard Department of Recreation & Athletics and completing research internships at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School, focusing on the genetic and molecular basis of schizophrenia, and at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, working on novel prosthetics and exploring phantom limb syndrome. Cheta also contributed as a student/counselor with AIU High School Diplomats from January 2010 to August 2012. Cheta holds a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard University, earned in 2015.

Established in 1975, USA Rugby is the governing body for the sport of rugby in the United States and a Full Sport Member of the United States Olympic Committee. Currently headquartered in Glendale, Colorado, USA Rugby is charged with developing the game on all levels and has more than 100,000 active members across the Youth, High School, College and Senior Club level. USA Rugby oversees four senior national teams, multiple junior national development programs and an emerging Olympic development pathway for elite athletes.
