David Chapman

David Chapman is an experienced rugby coach and program developer, currently serving as the Rugby Program Developer and Men's/Women's Head Coach at Niagara University since May 2023. With a robust history in rugby administration, David holds multiple positions including Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner for the Liberty Rugby Conference, focusing on the facilitation and enhancement of competitive opportunities for numerous teams. As Chairperson of National Collegiate Rugby, David collaborates with governing bodies to support various competitions. David is a Level 300 certified coach through USA Rugby, emphasizing player development and effective communication. Previously, David directed the rugby program at Colgate University and coached at the University of Mississippi, consistently prioritizing student-athlete experiences and community development in both educational and competitive contexts. David earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Exercise Science from the University of Mississippi in 2009.
