Jessica Lu is a professional athlete with experience in both athletics and law. Currently competing for USA Rugby since February 2023, Jessica has held legal positions at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates, serving as an Associate from September 2022 to January 2023 and as a Summer Associate in 2021. Additionally, during a Law Fellowship at Accountability Counsel from June to August 2020, Jessica contributed research and advocacy strategies for communities affected by international development projects. Prior to these roles, Jessica worked as a US Admissions Coach at BE Education, assisting Chinese students with international education applications and trends. Jessica holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Literature from Princeton University, alongside completion of the International Baccalaureate program at Shanghai American School.
