Kelsie McDowell currently serves as the Head Women's Rugby Coach at La Salle University, a position held since July 2024. In addition to coaching, Kelsie has been employed as a Senior Data Analyst at Aetna, a CVS Health Company since October 2019, where previous roles included Senior Manager and Project Manager in HEDIS. Active in rugby since 2012, Kelsie holds coaching roles with USA Rugby and previously with the United States Military Academy at West Point as an Assistant Women's Rugby Coach. Kelsie is also involved with the Iowa Rugby Union as a Compliance Officer and has contributed to the growth of the IAYRA Girls League as the Girls Development Director. Kelsie's earlier career includes various positions in data and project management across multiple organizations, including Mercy Medical Center, ADP, and AmeriHealth Caritas. Kelsie earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Northern Iowa in 2012.

Currently headquartered in Glendale, Colorado, USA Rugby is charged with developing the game on all levels and has more than 100,000 active members across the Youth, High School, College and Senior Club level.
