USA Rugby
Nate Augspurger is a professional rugby athlete with extensive experience in the sport, having played for the USA Men's Sevens and XV's Rugby team since July 2012. Nate has competed on the HSBC Sevens World Rugby Series circuit and participated in the 2019 Rugby World Cup. In addition to representing the USA, Nate played for the San Diego Legion in Major League Rugby from January 2018 to December 2023 and served as a sports coach at Rhinos Rugby Academy from October 2019 to January 2022. Previous roles include YDM Coach for the Community Olympic Development Program at Play Rugby USA from January 2015 to January 2018 and Youth Camp Director for Serevi Rugby in 2012-2013. Nate also has experience in management and coordination from work at Preston Marketing Concepts and housing and residential life at the University of Minnesota, where Nate earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
