Scott Lawrence

Scott Lawrence serves as the Men's 15s National Program Head Coach and General Manager for USA Rugby since February 2022, following a notable tenure as General Manager and Head Coach at Rugby ATL from January 2019 to December 2021. Lawrence has extensive experience coaching at various levels, including roles with Atlanta Youth Rugby and the USA Selects, where significant contributions were made to player development and team performance. Their coaching career includes positions at Life University, where a successful program revitalization occurred, and leading the USA U-20 team to a winning record and a Junior World Trophy in 2012. Lawrence has also played a critical role as High Performance Manager at USA Rugby, establishing a framework for athlete development. Educational credentials include a recent certificate in Systems Thinking from MIT, a Bachelor of Science in Computational Mathematics from Michigan State University, and leadership training at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.
