Emma Gannon

Emma Gannon has had a varied work experience since 2019. Emma began as a Molecular and Cellular Biology 151 Prep Staff Manager at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they were promoted to manager in February 2020. In this role, they were responsible for setting up and dismantling labs, making reagents, running test experiments, organizing, repairing, and calibrating lab equipment, and proctoring exams and assisting TA's. Additionally, they were a member of the Illini Medical Screening Society and Blood Club, and a Research Assistant in the PNC Laboratory. In 2021, they became a Laboratory Intern at Quest Diagnostics, and in 2020 they were a Research and Development Intern at Applied Material Solutions and a Member of Beta Psi Omega.

Emma Gannon received their Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology Major and Spanish Minor from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2021. Prior to that, they attended Lake Zurich High School from 2014 to 2018.
