Danielle Barker

Danielle Barker is a Digital Video Producer/Editor at USA TODAY since August 2017, specializing in editing and optimizing videos for various social media platforms, generating story ideas for positive news brands, and creating documentary-style videos. Previous experience includes a role as a Freelance Junior Editor at Refinery29, Inc., where short-form makeup tutorials were edited, and an Assistant Editor position at Northern Lights Post Inc., responsible for editing sizzle reels and managing media. Danielle also worked as an Assistant Editor at NBCUniversal, where contributions included assembling rough cuts for an Emmy-winning show and editing iconic TV series for Cozi TV. Additional early experiences include a marketing internship with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta and reporting for WUGA. Danielle holds a degree in Digital and Broadcast Journalism from The University of Georgia.
