Erik Kynard Jr.

Erik Kynard Jr. currently serves as the Associate Director of High Performance at USA Track & Field since March 2023, after previously being a Board Member for the organization from January 2019 to April 2022, where key responsibilities included strategic planning and oversight of national team personnel. With extensive experience in athletics, Erik held the position of Corporate Ambassador for Jordan Brand from June 2013 to July 2021, during which notable achievements included representing the brand globally and securing multiple medals as a World Indoor Bronze Medalist and ten-time USA Track & Field National Champion. Additionally, Erik served as an Assistant Track and Field Coach at Kansas State University from October 2016 to June 2018, focusing on compliance, team coaching, and student-athlete development. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University and is pursuing an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
