Martin Palavicini

Martin Palavicini, PhD, currently serves as the Head Manager - Men for USA Track & Field, overseeing notable events such as the 2025 NACAC Championships in Bahamas and the 2024 U20 World Championships in Peru. With extensive coaching experience that includes positions as Head Coach for various teams and Assistant Coach roles, Martin has contributed to multiple international competitions, including the Thorpe Cup and World Championships. In addition to a long tenure at Clovis Unified School District as a Head Coach and P.E. Teacher, Martin has also coached at California State University, Fresno, where significant athletic achievements were realized. Martin's educational background includes a PhD in Exercise and Sports Science from Universidad de León and a Master's in Kinesiology from California State University, Fresno.
