Mackenzie Brown has a diverse work experience in various roles related to social media, marketing, photography, and graphic design. Mackenzie began their career as a Retail Associate at adidas, where they promoted the brand and assisted customers. Mackenzie then worked as a Barista at Starbucks before joining the University of North Florida Athletics as a Graphic Design and Photo Intern. In this role, they collaborated with the Assistant AD for Marketing and created graphics and photographs for the athletic department's social media platforms. Mackenzie also had photography roles at Reddit, Inc., where they photographed college football bowl games and provided coverage and updates for the /r/CFB community. Mackenzie was also a Photographer for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Baseball Club, capturing game moments for the team. Mackenzie briefly worked as a Social Media Caddie at the PGA TOUR, where they collaborated with the Digital Content Coordinator to create social media content and promote the PGA Tour application. Most recently, they have been working at USA Triathlon as a Digital Content and Resources Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator, where they lead the production and distribution of multimedia content and manages social media accounts to promote the sport of triathlon. Overall, Mackenzie has gained experience in social media management, content creation, graphic design, photography, and marketing throughout their career.
Mackenzie Brown obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design and Digital Media from the University of North Florida, where they attended from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification in Adult Mental Health First Aid USA from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in December 2021.
