Victoria Brumfield has a diverse and extensive work experience in the sports and event management industry. Victoria started their career in 1999 at Korff Enterprises, where they served as an Executive Director responsible for client consulting, event creation and development, and staff oversight. During their tenure, they successfully built endurance sports events such as the New York City Triathlon into iconic brands and specialized in customized sponsorship programs.
In 2014, Victoria joined Life Time - The Healthy Way of Life Company as the Director of Operations, Athletic Events. In this role, they managed all aspects of operations for Life Time's portfolio of events, ranging from regional social competitions to iconic ultra-distance races.
From 2009 to 2017, Victoria worked as a Cycling Instructor at Equinox, where they presumably taught cycling classes.
In 2015, they joined Virgin Sport, a start-up within the Virgin Group, as the VP of Global Events & Operations. In this role, they created and led the global fitness festival product strategy, culture, and operations in the US and UK.
Currently, Victoria holds leadership positions at USA Triathlon. Victoria started in 2018 as the Chief of Staff, overseeing all business operations including strategy, planning, and various departments such as human resources, finance, legal, and information technology. Victoria later served as the Interim CEO before being appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in November 2022.
Victoria Brumfield completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communication and Media Studies from Brigham Young University. Victoria pursued further studies at NYU Stern School of Business from 2012 to 2014 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in Marketing & Strategy.
