Andres Giraldo

Andres Giraldo has a strong background in IT, with significant experience in roles such as IT Director at USA Truck Brokers, IT Project Manager at LafargeHolcim Americas Digital Center, and IT Manager at Alef Saderland. Andres has also worked as a Project Manager at ITS and as an IT Jr. Manager Infrastructure at Avon. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Network Development Engineer at INTERNEXA and as a Customer Support Engineer at ITS InfoCom. Andres began their professional journey as a Customer Service Intern at INTERNEXA. Throughout their roles, Andres has demonstrated expertise in managing IT projects, infrastructure, and network development, as well as ensuring compliance, continuity, and customer support.

Andres Giraldo's education history begins in 2006 when they enrolled at Universidad de Medellín to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Andres completed this degree in 2011. After several years, in 2018, Andres returned to Universidad de Medellín to pursue a Specialist degree in Information Management, which they completed in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Andres has obtained several certifications. In August 2012, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate certification from Cisco. In October 2015, they earned the Extreme Certified Specialist certifications in Routing and Switching from Extreme Networks. Andres continued to expand their skill set by obtaining certifications such as Scrum: The Basics and Amazon Web Services for IT professionals from LinkedIn in September 2017. In December 2020, they attained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Most recently, Andres has been acquiring additional certifications. In November 2021, they obtained the Oxford Placement Test - English Overall Result C1 from Oxford University Press. Andres also gained multiple certifications from Skillsoft, including Agile Principles and Methodologies, Liderar con juicio y decisión, Cómo convertirse en su mejor jefe, Pensar estratégicamente como gerente, and Perspectivas de expertos sobre los fundamentos de la comunicación, all obtained in December 2022. Lastly, Andres obtained the Diplomado: Negociación Estratégica certification from Universidad EAFIT in April 2023.
