Brett Dawson, CPCU, is the Underwriting Director at USAA, where they lead the Auto Policy & Performance Underwriting team and focus on enhancing risk management processes for the Auto line of business. Since joining USAA in 2001, Brett has utilized technology and collaboration to improve policy rating and ensure consistent underwriting practices. Previously, Brett served as an Underwriting Manager at Allstate from 1990 to 2000 and held the position of UW Research Director at AZ CPCU from 2012 to 2014. Brett is also a volunteer chapter leader with the AZ CPCU Society Chapter. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Kansas State University in 1989.
