Brian Duke

Brian Duke currently serves as the Director of Transaction Fraud Data Science at USAA, overseeing the development of fraudulent transaction models for a variety of payment methods. Previous roles include Captone Mentor at UC San Diego, where mentorship was provided to senior students on data science projects, and Vice President of Data Science at Prism Data, a company that emerged from a spin-out of Petal Card. At Petal, Brian led the data science team and temporarily held the position of interim Chief Risk Officer. Brian's extensive background in fraud analytics includes serving as Senior Director of Fraud Analytics at Experian, where a team of approximately 20 was managed. Earlier experiences also encompass positions at Accenture, Bridgepoint Education, SAS, FICO, and Capital One, contributing to a strong foundation in data science and analytics. Brian holds a Master of Science in Statistics and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from UC San Diego.
