Catherine Cao

Catherine Cao is currently a Regional Actuary at USAA, where they apply their extensive actuarial expertise. They have previously held positions at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from 2012 to 2021, focusing on workers compensation pricing, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation. Catherine began their career with internships at the Indiana Department of Insurance and OneAmerica in 2011, as well as a research internship at Purdue University, where they co-authored a research paper. They earned a B.S. in Applied Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, and Management from Purdue University and a Master's degree in Information and Data Science from UC Berkeley.
