Dan Johnson

Dan Johnson is a senior trial attorney at USAA's Seattle Staff Counsel Office, where they defend USAA and its members in civil litigation. Prior to joining USAA, Dan specialized in complex commercial litigation at the Seattle firm of Bullivant Houser Bailey for five years and served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Washington for six years. With a notable career spanning over a decade, Dan has tried more than one hundred cases to jury and has been recognized with an "AV" peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Dan holds a Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law and a BA from Roanoke College, is a member of the Washington and Oregon Bar, and is licensed to practice before several federal courts. Additionally, Dan contributes to the legal community through roles on the Board of Trustees for the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Association and as a participant in the Defense Research Institute and local Bar Associations.
