Dan Orth

Dan Orth, CPA, is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Since February 2018, Dan has served as the Executive Director of Accounting Policy and Technical Accounting at USAA, leading a team focused on accounting policy and technical matters. Prior to this, Dan held multiple positions at USAA, including Director of Technical Accounting and Director of Financial Accounting, where responsibilities included managing full cycle GAAP accounting and supporting the implementation of ASC 606 revenue recognition. Dan's previous experience includes serving as Senior Manager of Technical Accounting at American Midstream, LP, and as Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting Director at ENGIE North America Inc., where oversight was provided for financial reporting and technical accounting functions. Dan's career began at Deloitte as a Tax Analyst. Dan holds both a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
