Danielle Mendez

Danielle Mendez, MBA, currently serves as Lead Business Process Owner in Sourcing & Procurement at USAA since October 2019, having previously held positions including Senior Sourcing and Procurement Manager and Sourcing and Procurement Manager. Prior to USAA, Danielle worked at Marathon Petroleum Corporation and Andeavor as a Contract Administrator in Supply Chain Management, successfully leading RFP projects and collaborating with legal experts on contract negotiations. Danielle's extensive experience in contract administration includes a role at Tesoro Corporation, where significant savings were identified and achieved. Danielle also has a background in public procurement from the City of San Antonio and procurement strategy from AT&T. Danielle holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the same institution, along with certification in Purchasing, Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from St. Thomas University.
