David Dearie has extensive experience in military leadership and financial advocacy for the military community. Currently serving in Military Affairs at USAA since 2015, David focuses on promoting financial readiness and highlighting the value of membership for military personnel, their families, and veterans. David is the Founder and President of the Enlisted Leadership Foundation, established in February 2014. Previously, David held key leadership positions as Command Master Chief for Navy Region Southwest and USS PELELIU, where responsibilities included supporting Sailors and families while fostering a positive command environment. David's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor's Degree in English from San Diego State University.
