David Nelson

David Nelson has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Associate General Counsel and Principal at USAA since 2013. Prior to this role, David held the position of Partner and Associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP from 1999 to 2012, and worked as an Associate at Jones Day from 1996 to 1999. David began their career as a Certified Public Accountant at Deloitte from 1989 to 1992. David holds a law degree from The University of Texas School of Law and a degree from Texas State University.
