David Yim, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at USAA, a position held since June 2020, where responsibility includes developing and implementing investment strategies and asset allocation for $120 billion across various enterprise portfolios. Previously, David Yim was the Head of Portfolio Management and North American Public Markets at MEAG New York Corporation from March 2014 to June 2020, overseeing $43 billion in client portfolios. Earlier experience includes roles at PartnerRe as Managing Director, leading $5 billion in credit portfolios, and positions at Deephaven Capital Management, Galliard Capital Management, Ameriprise Financial Services, and a tenure as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. David Yim holds a BA from Middlebury College, an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, and a CFA designation from Harvard Business School.
