Gary Bastin

Gary Bastin has extensive experience in compliance and risk management, currently serving as a Compliance Risk Manager Lead and Senior Compliance Advisor at USAA since July 2017. Prior to this role, Gary held positions as a Compliance Consultant at Zurich North America from August 2006 to July 2017 and worked as a Contract Market Conduct Examiner and Market Conduct Examiner from January 2004 to August 2006. Gary began the career at the Oklahoma Insurance Department as an Examination Coordinator from January 2002 to January 2004 and also worked at Federated Insurance Company as a Claims Adjuster and Account Executive from July 1999 to January 2002. Gary obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Sport Sciences from the University of Oklahoma, attending from 1994 to 1999, and graduated from Del City High School from 1992 to 1994.
