Gavin Armstrong

Gavin Armstrong, PhD, is a Lead Data Scientist at USAA, where they focus on natural language processing and the development of machine learning models. They previously held positions as a Senior Data Scientist at USAA and a Senior Data Analyst at Summit Benefit and Actuarial Services, Inc. Additionally, Gavin contributed as an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at Central Washington University and served as a Visiting Researcher at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Gavin holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Oregon and a Master’s degree from Maynooth University, both with honors.
