James Hickman

James Hickman is the Assistant Vice President of Payment Operations at USAA, where they have worked since 1999. With over 37 years of experience in the financial services industry, James has held various roles, including Check Processing Manager, Bank Operations Manager, and Director of Fraud Detection. Prior to USAA, they served at multiple institutions, starting as a Teller at Sunbelt Savings, FSB, and later advancing to managerial positions at NationsBank NA and Pacific Southwest Bank. James earned a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Wayland Baptist University, completing their studies in 2008.
