Jim Griffith

Jim Griffith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operational excellence and process management. Currently serving as a Black Belt (Director) at USAA since October 2014, Jim collaborates with business partners to align performance with customer needs while identifying improvement project opportunities. Prior to USAA, Jim worked at NextEra Energy, Inc. from 2006 to October 2014 as a Senior Manager and Master Black Belt, where significant achievements included generating $100 million in annual savings through project ideation and leading impactful productivity improvements. Jim’s earlier roles at Dell and Rolls-Royce focused on quality management and process engineering, respectively, contributing to substantial enhancements in performance and cost reduction. Jim holds an MBA/MSME from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSME from Penn State University.
