Joe Cohen

Joe Cohen is an experienced legal professional specializing in financial services and consumer lending. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Bank Counsel at USAA since October 2019, Joe previously held the position of Vice President, Assistant General Counsel at Fifth Third Bank, where leadership of a legal team supported various consumer lending sectors. Prior to that, Joe worked at Capital One, first as Director, Assistant General Counsel for Auto Finance, and then as Senior Manager, Senior Counsel focusing on consumer regulatory compliance. Joe’s career began at Jaffe & Asher, LLP, where responsibilities included managing litigation for financial services clients. Joe holds a JD/MBA from Boston University School of Law and a BS in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island.
