Katan Patel currently serves as the Configuration Management IT Team Lead at USAA, a position held since October 2021. Prior to USAA, Katan worked as a Configuration Manager at Caliber Home Loans, Inc., contributing to the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) renovation as part of ITOM initiatives. Previous experience includes roles at GameStop, where responsibilities spanned Service Asset and Configuration Management, Change Management, and ITSM Tool Architecture. Katan gained further expertise as an ITSM Contractor at Hiregenics, leading integration projects between Asset and Configuration Management, and contributed to ITAM practices while at The Judge Group. Katan's career commenced with consulting roles at PwC and Accenture, with a focus on IT Operations and Service Management across various industries. Education includes dual B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from The University of Texas at Dallas.
