Mark Francis

Mark Francis has extensive experience in enterprise architecture, specializing in technology strategy and digital solutions within the insurance industry. Currently serving as the Chief Architect at USAA, Mark provides architecture services for corporate business solutions. Previously, Mark held roles at AXA XL, focusing on digital strategies involving emerging technologies and internal consulting for C-level management. Mark's tenure at XL Catlin and XL Insurance involved overseeing IT strategies and project management in North America, contributing significantly to corporate integration initiatives and claims system implementations. Mark began his career in software development and research, with notable experience as a Nuclear Reactor Operator in the US Navy. Mark holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Connecticut and completed training at the U.S. Naval Nuclear Power School.
