Michael Ayers

Michael Ayers is the Executive Director of Authentication, Identity, Intel, and Investigations at USAA, where they have been since 2024. Previously, they held various roles at Synchrony Financial from 2017 to 2019, including AVP Fraud Strategy Manager and AVP Emerging Threat Analytics Leader, focusing on fraud strategies and identity theft. They also worked at Bank of America from 2011 to 2017, serving as AVP Fraud Policy Strategist, VP of the Fraud RED Team, and SVP of Account Takeover and Device Strategy, managing risk and developing fraud strategies across digital banking and emerging technologies.
