Robert J. Gerden

Robert J. Gerden is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer for Technology & Systems Risk at USAA since December 2021. Previously, Robert held senior roles at Wells Fargo, including SVP of International Risk & Compliance and SVP of Divisional Operational Risk for Wealth, Brokerage & Retirement, where responsibilities included global risk management initiatives and operational risk programs. Robert also founded Gerden Risk Consulting, providing global risk management services, and has extensive experience with various organizations, including Nortel Networks, Kroll, and the Canadian government. Robert's academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and executive education from Harvard Business School.
