Valmore Smith

Valmore Smith is currently the Strategic Innovation Director at USAA Labs Emerging Technology department, where they research, connect, and develop new digitally scalable technologies for various lines of business. They have been instrumental in leading IMPACT, a diversity and inclusion group for emerging professionals. Valmore started their career at USAA in 2011 as a Member Relationship Specialist and has held various roles, including Vendor Relationship Manager and Insurance Senior Specialist, overseeing partnerships and optimizing business processes. Prior to USAA, Valmore served in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces member and worked with CVS/Caremark and Nationwide Insurance. They hold both a Bachelor’s of Science and a Master's of Business Administration in Management from the University of the Incarnate Word.
