Mike van Niekerk has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Usabco Industries (Pty) Ltd since October 1994. Previously, Mike held roles as Group Human Resources Manager at KIC Limited from March 1989 to March 1993, Personnel Manager at Kohler Safepak Versapak from March 1988 to February 1989, and Industrial Relations and Training Officer at Kohler Flexible Packaging from March 1987 to February 1988. Early in Mike's career, roles included Industrial Relations Officer at Harmony Gold Mine from January 1986 to February 1987. Academically, Mike obtained a BA in Industrial Sociology and Development Administration from Stellenbosch University, following matriculation at St Andrews College and earlier education at Rondebosch Boys High School and Rondebosch Boys Preparatory School.
