Kendall Kirby

Senior Vice President, Information Technology at USAble Life

Kendall Kirby has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. They started their career at Gaunt & Company, Ltd. as a Computer Systems Manager from August 1987 to February 1989. Following that, they worked as a Computer Specialist II and Computer Specialist I at the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service from February 1989 to May 1993. They then joined USAble Life and held multiple positions including Supervisor, Information Services, and Systems Analyst/Programmer from May 1993 to February 1997. Kendall also worked at the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism as a Manager of Management Information Systems (MIS) from February 1997 to September 1997. Afterward, they joined Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield as an Actuarial DSA Supervisor from September 1997 to July 2008. Finally, Kendall returned to USAble Life, where they currently serve as the Senior Vice President of Information Technology since July 2008. In this role, Kendall has overseen a substantial IT budget and a large IT organization. They have successfully led various automation projects, implemented a business continuity program, and served as the Chief Security Officer. They are also active in university boards and have contributed to establishing an award-winning internship program.

Kendall Kirby obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Math from Arkansas State University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Additionally, Kendall obtained certifications as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer through Microsoft in July 1999 and as a Novell Certified Netware Engineer through Novell in September 1996. They also have a Master Electrician certification from the AR Department of Labor, but the exact month and year of obtaining this certification is unknown.
