Chief Security Officer at Usablenet

Alessio Milan has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Alessio started their career as a System Operator at Ospedale Civile di Pordenone in 1981. In 1982, they worked as a Basic Programmer at Informatica 80 for a short period. Alessio then joined Sipi-U Srl in 1985 and served as a Research and Development Team Leader until 2000.

In 2001, they joined Usablenet as a Software Developer and was responsible for configuration management, build and release processes of various products. Alessio also contributed to the development of Assistive products and components of Usablenet Mobile products. Alessio continued with Usablenet and took on the role of IT Infrastructure and Security, where they oversaw security standards, policies, compliance maintenance, and training until 2016. From 2016 onwards, they served as the Chief Security Officer, responsible for the global security of Usablenet, including compliance maintenance and security awareness training.

Alessio Milan began their education at Istituto Tecnico Industriale "A. Malignani" in 1975, where they pursued a Diploma di Perito Elettronico in the field of electronics. Alessio completed this program in 1980. Following that, Alessio Milan enrolled at Università degli Studi di Udine in 1980 and graduated in 1984 with a degree in Scienze dell'informazione, specializing in Computer Science.
