Giovanni Piller Cottrer has a diverse work experience in web development and IT consultancy. Giovanni started their career as a Web Developer at Usablenet in 2012. Prior to that, they volunteered at Associazione Turistica Comunità di Sappada in 2008, where they designed and maintained three websites for this non-profit organization. Giovanni also assisted in promoting local initiatives through various online channels and contributed to keynote creations, video editing, interviews, and promotional events. In 2011, they joined Couchtalks as a Frontend Developer & UI Designer, where they focused on designing and building interfaces for their consumer-oriented Ruby On Rails web app, specializing in jQuery and complex form development.

Giovanni Piller Cottrer received their education in two institutions. Giovanni first attended the Istituto Tecnico Industriale "E. Fermi" Pieve di Cadore from 2003 to 2009. During this time, they focused on the field of study of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at the Università degli Studi di Udine from 2009 to 2012, where they pursued a Laurea Triennale degree in Computer Science.
