John Cuomo

John Cuomo has extensive experience in product development and research within the fields of health sciences and agriculture. Since 1996, John has held the position of Executive Director at USANA Health Sciences, overseeing product development and global research efforts. Prior roles at USANA include Executive Director of R&D and Senior Research Scientist, where John significantly improved the production process for grape seed extract. Earlier experience includes directing chemistry research at AgriDyne Technologies, where John coordinated the development of biologically derived insecticides, and a tenure at E. I. Du Pont & Co., where John synthesized compounds for biological screening and contributed to numerous patents. John holds a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Penn State University and has postdoctoral training in Bio Organic Chemistry from the University of Oregon.
