Rick Minor, LL.M. (tax) has a long history of working in the areas of international tax policy, government affairs, and business investment. In 2020, they were appointed VP and International Tax Counsel for USCIB-United States Council for International Business. Prior to this, they were a member of the US-German Public Leadership Group at Atlantik-Brücke e.V., a member of the OECD Technical Advisory Group for VAT, Senior Counsel at Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP, Director of International Cooperation and Business Investment at the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Head of International Business Development at the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, and Attorney at Law. Rick also held the role of Head of Taxes, Europe Middle East and Africa - Executive Leader at ArcelorMittal from 2012 to 2014, and European Government Affairs - tax planning and data privacy policy and compliance at Spitze from 2010 to 2012.

Rick Minor, LL.M. (tax) completed a BA in Economics and German from Duke University between 1980 and 1984. Rick then attended the University of Hamburg as a DAAD Scholar from 1984 to 1985 to study Fiscal Policy. From 1985 to 1988, they attended the University of North Carolina School of Law and earned their JD. Rick then attended Georgetown University Law Center from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained an LLM in Tax Law. In addition, they obtained the CIPP/E Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in June 2015.
