Catherine Lafever

Catherine LaFever has extensive experience in science education, currently serving as a High School Science Teacher at Eisenhower High School in Goddard USD 265 since August 2020, where Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, Intro to Health Care, and Physical Science are taught. Prior to this role, Catherine taught a variety of high school science courses, including AP Chemistry, Astronomy, Physics, and Biology in Georgetown ISD from August 2012 to May 2020, along with middle school science in the 2012-13 school year. Additional experience includes a position as a scorer for the National Board certification at Pearson in summer 2013, and teaching roles at Clinton High School and Hardin Valley Academy. Catherine's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Master of Science in Teacher Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
