Mark Cole has extensive work experience in the legal field. Mark started their career in 1996 as an Associate Attorney at Bracewell LLP, where they worked until 2001. During their time at Bracewell LLP, they gained valuable experience in the legal profession. In 2001, they joined USD Group LLC as Co-General Counsel and Secretary, a role they still hold. Recently, in 2022, they also took on the position of Executive Vice President at Novation LLC. With their diverse roles and experience, Mark Cole has established himself as a skilled and experienced legal professional.

Mark Cole has a diverse education history, primarily focused on law, business, and theology. Mark obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and political science from Baylor University, graduating in 1989. Mark then pursued further studies in law and obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Notre Dame Law School in 1996. Mark also undertook graduate studies in religion, earning an MA in Religion from Yale Divinity School in 1992, with a focus on philosophical theology. Additionally, they engaged in graduate study in philosophy and theology at Trinity College Dublin from 1990 to 1991.

Mark continued their academic pursuits and achieved a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Economic Law from the University of Houston in 2002. Mark further expanded their knowledge in the field of business and commerce by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Western Governors University in 2019. Mark also completed a ThM (Master of Theology) degree with a specialization in Church-State Studies from Whitefield Theological Seminary in 2010.

In addition to their formal degrees, Mark has obtained multiple certifications in various areas. These include certifications in project-level GHG accounting, organizational GHG accounting, blockchain architecture, blockchain expertise, property casualty underwriting, bitcoin expertise, Ethereum expertise, human capital strategy, management liability insurance, transport logistics, HIPAA awareness for employer group health plans, energy risk and insurance, and additional HIPAA awareness training.
