Jim MacDonell

VP, Eastern Region at USDM Life Sciences

Jim MacDonell is the current VP of the Eastern Region at USDM Life Sciences. Prior to this, they were with Systech International from January 2011 to December 2012 as their Vice President. Their responsibilities included business, solution strategy and sales management as well as consulting services and partner management. From February 1989 to December 2011, Jim was with Patni Computer Systems (which acquired Taratec in July 2007). Jim led the global expansion of the company's IT consulting services to the Pharmaceutical Industry following the acquisition. Additionally, they were responsible for solution development, business, program, project and sales management. Prior to Patni Computer Systems, Jim was with Taratec Development Corporation from February 1989 to July 2007 as their VP. Their responsibilities were similar to those at Patni Computer Systems and they were also responsible for initiating, developing and selling IT consulting services for the Pharmaceutical Industry. Jim's career started in April 1984 when they became Operations Manager at Volvo Car Corporation and they remained there until February 1989.

Jim MacDonell has a MBA in Management from Rutgers University and a B. S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

They work with Brian McCole - VP, Quality Initiatives, Kim Hutchings - Head of Alliances & Digital Transformation, and Roger Davy - Director, Customer Engagement. Jim MacDonell reports to Kevin Brown, CEO & Co-Founder.
